A Dream Come True for Firestone’s Tommy Brown

Tommy Brown is a 6’5” 330 lbs offensive tackle from Akron Firestone High School. With offers from Ohio State, Michigan State, and West Virginia, the impressive prospect with 5.1 40 yard speed quickly committed to Ohio State after receiving an offer over the first weekend in April.

Chase Farris - Elyria, OH

Chase Farris is one of the best prospects in Ohio for 2011, with early offers from Notre Dame, Illinois, Cincinnati and West Virginia. The 6’6” defensive end recruit with 4.9 speed will look to fill the shows of departing end Thaddeus Gibson.

Brian Bobek - Palatine, IL

Brian Bobek is the first out-of-state prospect to commit to Ohio State for the 2011 class. The offensive lineman from Fremd High School in Palatine Illinois, is a part of a big offensive line class that looks to make up for recruiting misses that occurred for OSU within their 2010 class. He also had offers from Purdue, Michigan State, and Colorado before committing to Ohio State.
