Donte Whitner is selected to be a captain of the Bills

There is no fooling football players. That is particularly true of pro players. They can tell in the first 10 minutes if a coach or a player is the real thing or not. The Bills players and staff know that Donte Whitner is the real thing.

Six Captains

Buffalo Bills SS Whitner has been selected as one of the team's six captains. Some draft experts had criticized the Bills for taking Whitner with the 8th pick in the first round in 2006. But by being selected as a captain in just his third season, he has shown the same kind of leadership there that he did at OSU.

Lead By Example

According to sources in Buffalo, Whitner is an excellent choice because he provides leadership by example. Anyone that has seen him play knows he gives the maximum effort in everything he does. We here at BrutusReport.com congratulate Donte and hope he has a great year.
