Who’s your QB?
We got to see a good deal of Terrell Pryor Saturday
night. Todd Boeckman showed us all of
his worst qualities; his blazing snail-like speed, his poor decision making
(Really, throwing into triple coverage?
This isn’t YSU, Todd.) and the level headedness of an overactive Tasmanian
devil.

Pryor over Boeckman
These traits are not what Buckeye
fans want to see out of their quarterback let alone their fifth year starting
quarterback. Pryor looked poised and
executed his plays with efficiency. Even
though he was far from perfect, Pryor looked ready to take the reigns and lead
the Buckeyes down the field. Understand
that the coaching staff simplified the play calling while he was in but he
still looked good.
Start the Future
The question is this; Terrell Pryor
is the future of the Ohio
State football program
(at least for the next three years).
When do you give him the ball and say “Go get ‘em kid!” I say the sooner the better. Troy
is coming up and it would be a great opportunity for the coaching staff to
throw the playbook at Terrell and see what happens. Even if he makes some mistakes the Buckeyes
will still win the game and Pryor will have a solid game with the entire
playbook.
I don’t like bad mouthing players,
it gives me a sick feeling in my stomach but I just don’t think Todd is a
gamer. If it’s a weak opponent he shines
but in the big ones he folds. Is Terrell
a gamer? I don’t know but now’s the time
to start seasoning him so that when it counts, the Bucks don’t get run off the
field again like they did on Saturday.
