Nick Conner makes a Commitment to Ohio State

Nick Conner

Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes have added Nick Conner to their 2015 recruiting class. Conner, the Dublin (OH) Scioto linebacker is their seventh commitment. He was drafted after offering-up a great performance at the Ohio State camp recently. Steve Helwagen, the Bucknuts writer tweeted Clayton Colvin and pitcher Dublin Jerome to congratulate Conner. 247Sports and Eleven Warriors were quick to confirm Conner's commitment to the Buckeyes. However, a posting on Conner's personal instagram account confirmed his commitment, putting an end to speculation on other social media sites.

Nick Conner may be one of the best players in the Ohio State 2015 class, but he was forced to camp to earn the offer from the Gray and Scarlet. When the offer came, Conner didn't hesitate to take it up, he made it plain he wanted to play for the Buckeyes.

Nick Conner was one of the best players who attended today's camp, he spent a lot of time working in front of Luke Fickell, the linebackers coach and of course, the Buckeye's head coach Urban Meyer. Conner had offers from Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Oregon and Michigan State, but he chose to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes stand a chance of landing three class linebackers from Ohio State. The other two main contenders are Jerome Baker, the Benedictine linebacker and Justin Hilliard, St Xavier.
