Morgan Moses Ready For College Football after FUMA

Morgan Moses spent the last year at Fort Union Military Academy after starring at his local high school, Meadowbrook. Coming out of High School he was a top rated offensive lineman nationally and played in the Army all-star game in San Antonio. But he did not qualify to play for his committed college program at Virginia and went to FUMA instead. Now he is ready to excel on the football field and also in the classroom when he selects a college to attend.

Morgan Moses Meadowbrook High School Highlights

Morgan Moses wanted to attend Virginia last year but now is not sure as they have changed head coaches. Other schools have also come into the picture including North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio State, Florida, and LSU. A couple of current Buckeye recruits (Carlos Hyde and Jamel Turner) were on his team at FAMU and he spent a great deal of time with Hyde who is already enrolled at Ohio State. OSU Head Coach Jim Tressel feels they have a really good chance at landing Moses as he made an in-home visit this past week and wants Moses to official visit before National Letter of Intent signing day.

Moses is currently considered a soft verbal commitment to Virginia with interest in LSU, South Carolina, Florida, and Ohio State. He has made recent visits to South Carolina, on December 4th, and Florida, on December 11th. On his visit to USC, Moses got the chance to meet both coach Shawn Elliot and head coach Steve Spurrier. He liked both coaches very much and is considered leaning towards the Gamecocks according to some associated with the program.
