Ohio State Buckeye Ross Homan Selected for the Senior Bowl

Ross Homan will be the lone Buckeye to travel to Mobile Alabama for this year’s most popular college all-star game, the Senior Bowl. The Ohio State linebacker will take part in the prestigious all-star game for graduating college players that features a week of practice and the game under the evaluation of professional scouts and player personnel decision makers.

The game will air on January 29th, during the NFL off-week before the Superbowl. Cameron Heyward and Chimdi Chekwa were also invited according to a Senior Bowl representatives but they declined to participate. Chekwa had surgery on his wrist shortly after Ohio State beat Arkansas in the 2011 Sugar Bowl and is still recovering. Eleven Big Ten players will be a part of the Senior Bowl this year. Ricky Stanzi, Evan Royster and Adrian Clayborn are three of the more famous Big Ten players taking part.

Three seniors for the Buckeyes have accepted offers to play in the East-West Shrine game played on January 22nd. Brian Rolle, Jermale Hines and offensive guard Bryant Browning will play in this college all-star game in Orlando Florida. The Citrus Bowl will host the game to be played at 4 pm.
