Defensive Coaching Changes at the Ohio State University

It is reported that DC Chris Ash has been hired by Ohio State University and also finalized the Johnson deal. According to Sports Illustrated reporter Pete Thamel, Ohio State University is likely to hire Chris Ash from Arkansas and make him a co deputy coach. A deal to hire Larry Johnson, a former Penn State Coach has also been finalized. This is current information regarding Ohio State Football.

This same Sports Illustrated reporter who brought news regarding the return of Braxton Miller, is now reporting on the fact that Arkansas defensive coordinator Chris Ash will be brought on board by Ohio State football authorities. He will be the secondary coach and the co-defensive coordinator. Chris Ash was at one time a co-defensive coordinator at Wisconsin and with his expertise, assisted in the steering of three Rose Bowl defenses. According to Thamel, Larry Johnson and Chris Ash will be formally introduced this coming week. This will make complete the entire coaching staff for 2014 at Ohio State university. This will definitely raise expectations in relation to the performance of Ohio state football in the coming season.
