Ben Edwards To Join The Ohio State Football Team In 2015

After having mulled his decision over intensively, Ben Edwards opted to accept Ohio State's enrollment offer.  He will be one of a number of players in 2015 that will make up the draft division for the Ohio State football team.

His decision was revealed on Tuesday after he decided to go with his gut.  He maintains close relationships with Chris Ash, the co-defensive coordinator coach and with coach Tim Hinton and this played a factor in his decision as well.

In a conversation with reporters, Ben Edwards told the public that he was having conversations with these coaches on a weekly basis.  He described these trainers as being "great" and he stressed that they were waiting for his commitment anxiously.

He obviously made an impression on these coaches with his style of play, which is why they are eager to have him start playing as soon as possible.  Edwards thinks that he has excellent chances of winning a championship with this team and he looks forward to being a part of the team when they reach this goal.

Stanford, North Carolina and Auburn also expressed an interest in this player, given that he is highly recognized.  He's ranked in the 32nd position on the Sentinel's list for Florida's top 100.  After long and careful deliberation, this 196 pound, 6' safety chose to play for the Ohio State football team.  His current relationship with Ohio's coaches played a role in this choice.

Jacksonville Christian Trinity is a solid team filled with committed hopeful and top ranked players.  They won their second Florida Class 3A title in a row recently and they are geared to win this title once more.  With strong, reliable players like running back Jalin Buie and linebacker Jeffrey Holland, this is certainly an attainable feat for this team.
