Ohio State v Michigan Preview

Ohio State faces a mediocre Michigan team today and hopes to secure a share of the Big Ten title for the 6th time in six years. Getting a bid to the Rose Bowl will be more difficult as Wisconsin holds a higher spot in the BCS and will be given their shot at the Rose Bowl if they can finished out without a another loss. Ohio State hopes for a BCS bowl other than the Rose Bowl when they finish their Big Ten campaign today.

Ohio State Offense

The Ohio State Offense is a solid combination of passing and running with Terrelle Pryor leading the way. Daniel Boom Herron has had a solid finish to the season with 893 yards total and 14 touchdowns. Down the stretch Ohio State likes to turn to the running game to close out tight Big Ten games and that could be the case again today.

Dane Sanzenbacher leads the Buckeyes receiving with 818 yards and 9 touchdowns although DeVier Posey is considered their first receiver. Brandon Saine has taken the role as the third receiver and has 184 yards with 5 touchdowns through the air.

Michigan Defense

Michigan has struggled with their defense ever since Head Coach Rich Rodriquez took over the team. And this year is no difference as they have struggled through every one of their games. A young squad has had a learning experience in 2010 after losing some veteran leaders from 2009.
