Ohio State Buckeye Fans: Go Spartans!
After the loss to Penn State a few weeks ago, many Buckeye
fans were quietly supporting the romantic notion of JoePa going out on top of
the college football world with a final national championship. With the heartbreaking loss to Iowa this weekend, the
Big Ten title has leveled out and become a three horse race. Penn State, Michigan State and Ohio State
are tied for first place in the Big Ten and the championship is up for grabs.

Only Penn State
truly controls its own Big Ten destiny but with one slip OSU and MSU are both
in contention. Here are the scenarios.
1) Penn State;
win out and the Big Ten championship and the Rose Bowl birth are in the bag.
2) Michigan State;
beat Penn State
on the 22nd and hope for Ohio
State to lose one of its
final two games and the title and the Rose Bowl are theirs.
3) Ohio State;
beat Illinois and Michigan in the final two games and root for MSU to beat Penn
State to secure a third Big Ten title and the first Rose Bowl appearance since
1996.
All three teams still have a lot to
play for so make sure you park your backsides firmly in the stands or on the
couch because the season is far from over and it’s certain to be a wild ride.
