With 60 scouts from 29 NFL teams watching, Chris Beanie Wells and Malcolm Jenkins ran better times at the Woody Hayes Facility than at the NFL Combine weeks earlier with Marcus Freeman putting in another stellar performance. Their improved times may reassure teams that the two are worth the high draft rankings they have received in the past.

Jenkins ran a sub 4.5 this time around with his best time being 4.46 and his worst time being 4.53. Ohio State is considered to have a fast surface which makes the times not entirely comparable to the times at the combine. While his speed is decent on the track, he might be drafted later as a safety instead of early as a cornerback. If performance on the field was the only measure he would be a first round selection as no one wanted to throw the ball in his direction when they played the Buckeyes.
Chris Beanie Wells truly helped himself with a blazing performance of 4.34 at the low end and 4.46 as the slowest time. Wells went into Pro Day at Ohio State feeling he could improve with the additional training he did after the combine. "At the combine I wasn't relaxed at all, I fought it the whole way. Today I was relaxed. I definitely feel relieved." he said after the event. Getting off the blocks was an important focal point of his recent training and it help him a lot.
Marcus Freeman had a very good combine in addition to playing well at the Senior Bowl and also performed well at the OSU Pro Day. At the Woody Hayes Facility he ran between 4.50 and 4.55 in the 40 yard dash which was .20 better than his good times at the combine.
James Laurinaitis still was slow on the track while Brian Robiskie showed decent speed comparable to his past performances.
