Mike Adams Suspended For First 2 Games

There have been rumors that Mike Adams has had off the field issues and not performance problems that have placed him into the 3rd string offensive line instead of the first or second string. Now it appears that Adams will be suspended for the first 2 games of the season against Navy and USC because of a team rule violations.

By Steve Patterson

According to rumors the violation is similar to the arrest that JB Shugarts and Adams had last year when they got pulled over by police near campus. No official word from the team at this point about the suspension. Left tackle is a position of great need this season and in the absence of Adams, Andy Miller and JB Shugarts have had the chance to play with the first string and both will be in the running for starting against Navy.
