Kyle Dodson Announces for Ohio State

Not every student gets a 45 minute pep-rally to make their college decision known but Kyle Dodson was able to keep the students of Cleveland Heights entertained while telling them that he was switching from Wisconsin to Ohio State. The four star offensive tackle became an important part of Urban Meyer’s first Buckeye class. The signing day switch gave Ohio State a starting left tackle for the future and irked Wisconsin coaches so much that Bret Bielema told reporters later that day that Meyer was using illegal recruiting tactics. He had hoped for conference intervention but was later told by his Athletic Director,Berry Alvarez, and the conference commissioner, Jim Delany, that he didn’t have anything to complain about.
