Ohio State Versus Penn State

No. 9 OSU Buckeyes (8-0, 4-0) at PSU Nittany Lions(5-2, 3-0 Big Ten)

Saturday kickoff, 5:30p.m. ET (ESPN)

The spread is : Penn State by 2

Worth viewing?: This could be one of the Big Ten games that is worth watching this weekend and this season. OSU and Penn State are not qualified for this postseason because of NCAA violations that occurred during the off-season that rocked both programs. But league rules state that they could still win the Leaders Division title. The Nittany Lions are showing off their new offence and their hostile defense while the Ohio State football Buckeyes offer a skilled defense and an explosive quarterback in Braxton Miller.

Star players for Ohio State Football:  Braxton Miller the sophomore quarterback is expected to play against the Nittany Lions, Miller was concussed during the overtime win last weekend in the game against Purdue. If you are trying to think of one of the best field runners in Ohio state Football history then Miller has to be your man. Kenny Guiton is another great open field runner who proved that he can lead the team and could stand in if Miller can't make it the whole game this Saturday.

Matt McGloin is the senior quarterback for Penn State and he is regarded as a great drop back passer for the league. McGloin has thrown for a couple of touchdowns in two games that saw the Penn State Nittany Lions taking on the Buckeyes in past years.

Bradley Roby is one of the show stealers for Buckeye Football and he should play well against the Nittany Lions. Penn States back Michael Maulti is a showman and in all he has had 65 tackles.

Penn State has to defend well in this game as well as the Buckeyes. If OSU defends poorly then the Nittany Lions may take advantage of that. The Nittany Lions need to do everything they can to keep Carlos Hyde and Braxton Miller under control to win this game. Should be an exciting late day game in Happy Valley for two storied programs looking to make something of a tarnished season.
