Damon Arnette Makes Last Minute Switch to Ohio State

Florida St Thomas Aquinas recruit Damon Arnette was committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks before an official visit to Columbus this past weekend. After the visit the defensive back switched from SC to Ohio State and is ready to sign with the Buckeyes on Wednesday, National Signing Day. Minutes after the visit he still favored South Carolina but over the next two days he made the decision that OSU was a better place for him to be. Michigan finished 3rd, much better than their season in the Big Ten.

Arnette is a 3 star prospect considered the 60th best cornerback in the country. He comes from the same school as current starting defensive end Joey Bosa and plays with 2016 recruit Nick Bosa. He makes the count 25 for the 2015 class that will most likely end ranked in the top 5 nationally. Nine players have left the Gamecocks class during the recruiting season. They look to finish 17th overall with a big 29 kids in their class.
