Urban Meyer told the press today that starting quarterback and team captain JT Barrett will lose one semester of aid in addition to being suspended for the upcoming game against Minnesota. He was arrested over the weekend for driving under the influence at a police checkpoint near campus. Barrett will have to pay his own way when he attends class in the summer of 2016.

To participate in conditioning and skill work outs over next summer, he will need to participate in classes.

Cardale Jones will start the game this Saturday at quarterback as he did in the first 6 games this year.

Barrett called some players on Sunday to apologize for the incident and also talked to the whole team today. He can play again against Illinois in a week on the road, but there is no guaranteed that he will start.
