Joey Bosa Defensive Rookie Of Year

JoeyBosa

Not surprising hardly anyone, Joey Bosa became the Defensive Rookie of the Year for the NFL in an awards ceremony on Saturday night held in Houston. Joey Bosa had a spectacular year in his rookie season with 10.5 sacks in only 12 games. The season was curtailed for him at one point because of conflicts in his contract with the San Diego Chargers. However, once he got back on the field, he proved himself among the best defensive players in the NFL.

Amazingly, Joey Bosa managed six of the sacks in the first five NFL games, remaining strong throughout the season. He showed especial prowess during a game against the Falcons late in the season when he sacked Matt Ryan two times, boosting the Chargers into a overtime win of 33-30.

So congratulations to Joey Bosa as he moves on to becoming one of the best NFL players of our time.
