2011 Under Armour All-America Game

Tonight is the fourth annual Under Armour All-America Game run by ESPN and aired by ESPN at 7pm. Played at Tropicana Field in St Petersburg Florida, the game features some of the best high-school prospects in the country and some famous coaches. The game was previously played in Orlando at the Citrus Bowl. Some famous alumni from years past include Matt Barkley, Julio Jones and AJ Green although the game is less historic than the Army All-American played on Saturday.

The White Roster features three quarterbacks already committed to Ohio State, Oklahoma, and USC in Braxton Miller, Kendal Thompson and Max Wittek respectively. On the other side of the field is the Red Team with Jeff Driskel, Kiehl Frazier and Brett Hundley committed to Florida, Auburn, and UCLA.

Eight players will verbally commit to play for college programs during the game including wide receiver Devon Blackmon and athlete Quan Bray. Also Xzavier Dickson a defensive end from Griffin Georgia who is considering Alabama and Georgia. Safety Jabari Gorman from Miami Florida who likes Ohio State, Miami and Florida. Cornerback Doran Grant from Akron Ohio who well select either Ohio State or Michigan State. Guard Marcus Jackson from Vero Beach Florida who is favoring Miami, Michigan State and Tennessee. Receiver Robenson Therezie from Miami who should select Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miami or Florida State. And the best defensive end in the country, Greg Townsend Jr. from Beverly Hills, California who is selecting between USC and TCU (?).

The coaches for the game are Mike Ditka and Steve Mariucci. The commentators have put back on their whistles to coach-up the young players that hope to play well, make some friendships, and do a little recruiting for their new college programs.
