College Prospects For Defensive End Solomon Thomas

Watching a budding talent grow to its full potential is very exciting. There are many such budding talents in different fields. However, the one in every person's mouth right now is Solomon Thomas. Solomon Thomas has been a big-time prospect in football for a long time. The Coppell defensive end is among the best in his position. He is ranked number 1 in the SportsDays area rankings and 28th in the top 100 football recruits of 2014.

His strength lies in body control and balance, disengaging skills and intensity, but he can improve more on his pass rushing skills. According to some top scouts, his ability to wreak havoc in the backfield makes him a good defensive end player. However, with a few years in a college strength and conditioning program, he can grow out of the defensive end position. Time will tell, but it is his current form and potential that is turning so many heads right now.

Due to his potential, Thomas is being hunted by many colleges. This has made it difficult for him to make a choice. Currently he has managed to narrow his list to about a dozen schools. The list might and should get slimmer as the days go by, but here is his current shortlist:

• Texas
• TCU
• Baylor
• Oklahoma
• Oklahoma State
• Ohio State
UCLA
• Stanford
• Notre Dame
• Alabama
• A&M
• Oregon
Arkansas
