West Virginia/Notre Dame on Basketball Schedule 

In what will be a home-and-home agreement between Ohio State and West Virginia, the Buckeyes will play WVU this coming season and travel to Morgantown in 2009 to play the Mountaineers.

Bob Huggins to Play OSU

            WVU Head Coach Bob Huggins during his 16 years at Cincinnati was unable to get a game scheduled between Ohio State and Cincinnati. But now that he is at West Virginia, he was able to get the game that he has wanted for a long time.

Out of Conference

            Ohio State fans are looking forward to the out of conference match-up and its potential to boost the teams RPI for tournament consideration in both years. Ohio State failed to make the NCAA tournament after going all the way to the finals game in 2007-08.

Notre Dame

            In a similar story, Ohio State has reportedly scheduled a game with Notre Dame for the 2008-09 season.
