2010 Star Prospects Attending Ohio State vs. USC

Ohio State is bringing in as many high caliber prospects for the 2010 class as possible on September 11th for the weekend that could be the making of a historic year for the Buckeyes. That is of course if Ohio State can do to USC what the Trojans did to the Buckeyes last year in beating them at home and practically knocking them out of National Championship contention with one game.

September 12th could not only be a really good day for the current Ohio State Buckeyes but the team could take a big step forward by getting commitments from a number of top 2010 high school students that are visiting for the USC game. Commitments on game weekends have been rare for the Buckeyes with most coming prior to the season or after the regular season. But at least one prospect is expected to commit over the weekend of September 12th.

The current list of recruits planning to attend the game and see the campus include Corey Brown from Springfield Pennsylvania, Chaz Green from Tampa Florida, Chad Hagan a current commitment from Canonsburg Pennsylvania, Will Hagerup a kicker from Wisconsin, Seantrel Henderson from Saint Paul Minnesota, Jordan Hicks from West Chester Ohio, Lamarcus Joyner from Fort Lauderdale Florida, and Joshua Shaw from Palmade California.

Corey Brown

Corey Brown is a running back/corner back/possible wide receiver that is ranked the third best prospect in the state of Pennsylvania. He recently reduced his list down to top 5 including Ohio State, Miami, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, and West Virginia. The OSU visit is the only one he currently has scheduled.

Seantrel Henderson

Seantrel Henderson is the #1 prospect in the country according to most rating groups. The big 6’8” 300lbs offensive lineman would be an ideal left tackle for one of the remaining 7 programs that he is considering. He is also planning to visit Notre Dame and USC in addition to Ohio State.

Jordan Shaw

Jordan Shaw is a great cornerback rated the third best cover corner in the country according to Rivals.com. He currently has over 13 offers from some of the best college programs but is favoring the Buckeyes over all of the others. He is scheduled to visit Florida, Notre Dame, and Washington but could be the one commitment the Ohio State coaching staff secures on this historic weekend.
