Ohio State Players of the Week Vs Indiana
Ohio State’s 33-14 win over the Indiana Hoosier was impressive and so was the performance of a number of players on offense, defense, and special teams. The Buckeyes released the Player of the Week awards today.

Anderson Russell
The Defensive Player of the Week was Anderson Russell who had a great game with a fumble recovery, an interception and 6 tackles. This is after being benched two games ago in place of Jermale Hines. He got his opportunity with Kurt Coleman suspended for the game and made the most of it.
Jim Thoma had a great game punting for Ohio State if you failed to notice. Every punt of his was within the the 20 yard line, backing up the Hoosiers on each drive they started. He was the Special Teams Player of the Week with his 3 punts.
Jim Parker Lineman
Austin Spitler is the Attack Force Player of the Week with Bryant Browning getting the Jim Parker Lineman of the Week Award. Marcus Hall got on the field for the first time against Indiana and was the lead blocker on a number of plays. After the Zach Boren touchdown he expressed his great enthusiasm for being on the field and getting his shot. But it was his Glenville Tarblooder teammate that received the weekly award.
Jack Tatum Hit
Scout team Players of the Week include James Georgiades, Jamie Wood, and Ryan Schuck. The Jack Tatum Big Hit of the Week has not been decided yet although Duron Carter is holding out hope that he gets the award. After the game Carter spoke about the hit he put on an Indiana cornerback who was trying to make a downfield tackle on Terrelle Pryor. Carter felt the hit was more exciting than the touchdown he scored in the first quarter.
