Ohio State Buckeyes Vs. Buffalo Bulls Preview

Ohio state buckeyes will open the 2013 Season at home this Saturday in Columbus. They will play against the Buffalo Bulls for the first time ever. The Ohio State Football team will begin the season with an advantage of having won 12 games in the previous season. This is the longest ever winning streak and the Bulls have a big task to handle. Last season was disappointing to the Bulls where they went 4 - 8. However, they managed to win three of their last four games last year.

This is going to be another time Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer is meeting with the Bulls head coach Jeff Quinn. They met for the first when heading different teams in the 2010 Sugar Bowl. Meyer was then in charge of the Florida Gators while Quinn was at the Cincinnati Bearcats as an interim manager. Meyer's team broke their opponents unbeaten record through a 51 - 24 win.

The game appears to be a revenge battle for Quinn and the Buckeyes should not overlook their opponents. The Buckeyes team seems to be fine with exciting players like Dontre Wilson now in the fold for 2013. They also have new a front four on defense that seem to be performing well in fall camp.

Quinn seems prepared for the battle after naming his 5 best to serve as long term captains. Khalil Mack, Colby Way, Branden Oliver, Alex Neutz and Jase Carlson are set to steward the Bulls team. Despite the Buckeyes superior history of performance, a win for Bulls won't be a surprise to those coming from New York.
