2007 & 2008 Troubles
The problems started when Eugene
Clifford was suspended for last years National Championship game due to a
violation of team rules. Then, on July 4th he was arrested in Cincinnati after
apparently coming to blows with two staff members at a sports bar.
Moving On
Eugene Clifford plans to look at
other schools to play football. Louisville,
Eastern Kentucky and Western Carolina have
expressed interest in giving Clifford another shot at college athletics. When
Clifford entered Ohio State he was the third rated player in all of Ohio high school
football and number 25 in the nation. While at Ohio State,
Clifford was a special-teamer who was in on a number of stops during last years
run to the BCS title game.
