I would love to see a repeat for the Travis
Howard and Etienne Sabino coup from the State of Florida
that Ohio State pulled in 2008.
Writer's Q&A: After Vlad Emilien named Ohio
State his favorite, is it possible for
the Buckeyes to pull Vlad and his teammate Brandon McGee out of Florida?
Bill Smith: There is always a chance but it is hard to put
too much hope into a person that young that has so many options. OSU gives him
the best chance to get to several BCS Championship games than the other schools
he mentioned but we will see.
Eric Geier: It is hard to say, but the comment is
interesting, maybe that was his way of baiting the Buckeyes to offer him a
spot. It never hurts to try, but recruiting is always a tricky process, time
will tell.
Ryan Leonardo: 100% yes. He said that Ohio State
is his favorite and he likes the coaches. When a player comes to the campus and
spring game and then says that OSU is his favorite, it's in the bag.
Steve Patterson: I would love to see a repeat for the Travis
Howard and Etienne Sabino coup from the State of Florida
that Ohio State pulled in 2008. There is still a
lot of time and nothing is for sure until the fax is in Coach Tressel’s hand,
but things are looking very good for the Buckeyes with McGee and Emilien and a
number of other top 2009 prospects.
