Jamarco Jones commits to Ohio State for the 2014 season

Jamarco Jones has committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes for the 2014 season. He will be coming out of Chicago from The De La Salle Institute. He was being recruited by colleges such as the Indiana Hoosiers(Recruiter Mark Hagen) who immediately considered Jones, as well as Lester Erb from the Iowa Hawkeyes. He was also considered from even more known teams such as Michigan state, Nebraska, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt. All are good schools, how ever Jones and the entire team feels like Jamarco Jones made a good choice with going to Ohio State. He will round out a powerful team.

While Jones at the end was down to the Michigan State's Spartans, the Michigan's Wolverines, and the Ohio State's Buckeyes, Jones feels like he can further his talent best under coach Urban Meyer.

Meyer in his first season with the Buckeyes was undefeated. They also finished that season off by defeating arch rival Michigan. Meyer who is a two time BCS championship winner and the only reason he was unable to take the Buckeyes to a win in the Big ten Conference or coach in a bowl game was due to NCAA sanctions. The Buckeyes are not under NCAA santions this year and fans are excited.

Jones whom is ranked number ninety seven recruit in the nation was such a draw by Meyer and will be able to continue to grow with such powerful direction and guidance. Jones also has a great quarter back to protect Braxton Miller.

Last season Miller rushed for over a hundred yards in six games, he threw for fifteen touch downs, and ran for thirteen touch downs. Miller also finished fifth in the Heisman voting last season as well.

Ohio State is a powerful team and Jones will be a powerful addition to the team for next year. It will not be long before fans expect him to be seen playing Sundays.

If Jamarco Jones wants to have a chance to better his career and be NFL bound plus further his education, Ohio State is going to be the best place for him to do it. Not only will Jamarco Jones be able to grow as a line back he will also learn to block and protect a mobile quarter back (Miller). While this will not be an easy task it will be an experience that Jones will be able to take forward and offer an NFL team in the future. He already has a lot to offer and has what Meyer is looking for,s Jones is quick on his feet and plays with a bit of a mean streak, and has incredible strength. All of which Meyer finds useful especially for such a position in need for the Buckeyes. Ohio will be adding Jamarco Jones as their fourteenth recruit for this season is going to step forward with what looks like a powerhouse of a team.

This is going to be a great opportunity for Jones as he works with the Buckeyes.
