It differs from year to year, recently it seems
like OSU has been Linebacker
U. They have also
produced outstanding running backs and receivers so I think it's up to an
individual’s opinion.
Writer's Q&A: Is Ohio
State Running Back U,
Line Backer U, Wide Receiver U or another position?
Bill Smith: The
only answer is Yes! Yes to all. In the modern era of college and pro football,
no other school has produced as many outstanding players over the 117 years of
the game.
Eric Geier: It differs from year to year, recently it seems

U. They have also

Steve Patterson: The major programs all like to claim to be
the biggest producer of NFL talent at one position or another. Wikipedia takes
you to the Penn State Nittany Lion page when you do a search for Linebacker U. I think Ohio State
has made a case to be considered the best at all three positions with the
linebacker position being the strongest during the most recent period.
Ryan Leonardo: Wide receiver, but not as of late when it
comes to elite performers at the next level. Jenkins, Ginn, Hartline,
Gonzo, and many others recently make a strong case against Boston,
Glenn, Galloway, Cris and Drew Carter, and
Chris Gamble.
Pete Quint: If you go on the merits of Buckeye careers in
the NFL then Ohio
State is Wide Receiver
U. Chris Carter, Drew Carter, David
Boston, Joey Galloway, Terry Glenn, Ted Ginn Jr. and Anthony Gonzalez all come
to mind.
