Ohio State Football Eligible For Leaders Division Title
The Big Ten Conference made a decision yesterday that the Ohio State Buckeyes will be eligible for the Leaders Division Title even though they cannot play in the Big Ten Championship game. Penn State will also be eligible even though they also face a post season ban at the end of the season. Urban Meyer maintained that the Buckeyes plan to go undefeated regardless of titles available to them this year.
In other notes, Jordan Hall and Michael Bennett will not be available this coming Saturday when the Buckeyes face Central Florida. Hall is almost recovered from a cut in his foot that he sustained in June. And Bennett is recovering from a groin pull that happened during pregame warm-ups last week.
Bloody Tuesday was a little less bloody this week with a number of guys dehydrating due to the humidity in Central Ohio. Meyer and the staff worked on their goal line offense to be more effective than they were against the Miami Red Hawks last week at the end of the 2nd period.
