Josh Davis, Central Ohio Lineman Pursued by Hoosiers
The Nose Tackle for Plain City Ohio Jonathan Alder, Josh Davis is being recruited by a number Big 10 schools and has recently received his first scholarship offer. Davis transferred from Indiana to Ohio and has a sister that attends IU, so getting the early offer from the Hoosiers puts them among his early favorites.

Davis had good things to say about Indiana when we contact him this week. "IU is a school that I'm familiar with. It's a big ten school along with others that are recruiting me. I think that they have potential to be a powerhouse team." he said.
But getting the early offer doesn't secure a commitment from the 6'6", 270 lbs lineman who could see offers from Ohio State and Notre Dame in the future. "I plan on holding off my choice right now." he told us about his college selection timeline. "I still have a whole year ahead of me to make my decision, and I don't want to rush anything without a really good look at everything."
Davis has shown the ability to dominate offensive lineman in high school but is being recruited as an offensive player by most school. He doesn't mind playing either side of the ball at the next level. "Offensive or Defensive doesn't really matter much to me." He explained. "I guess I would say defensive being that I have so much more experience there but offensive line would be fine."
To receive a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes many in state players need to show their ability at Ohio State's summer camp and Davis is planning on doing just that. "Yes I definitely plan on attending Ohio State's camp." he reported about his future plans.
