Storm Klein as on of the first 2009 recruits to commit to Ohio State this past year and the running back/linebacker from Licking Valley continued to impress on the field. Entering Winter quarter at Ohio State with three other incoming freshman, Klein plans to get a jump start on his football career as he’ll play in Spring ball and have three quarters of college behind him when the fall quarter begins.

Signing Day
For signing day, Klein was present at the Buckeye press conference along with Zach Boren, Adam Homan, and Jack Mewhort. He told us how the day went when we contacted him this past week. “I went to school, then went to the Woody for the press conference, then spent the rest of the day with my friends and family.”
Klein told us about his early entry. “I enrolled for winter quarter, so I've been here since then.” he explained. “I like communications and business but I’m still exploring.” Exploration is a classification for underclassmen at Ohio State who have yet to declare a major.
Big Kat Style
He hopes to follow in the footsteps of a couple standout linebackers that have come through Ohio State over the past ten years. “I think my game is comparable to people like Bobby Carpenter and The Kat .” Andy “Bit Kat” Katzenmoyer was a Butkus Award winner at middle linebacker for Ohio State and was drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft in 1999.
Ten Years later, Klein hopes to have a well rounded career without some of the faults that the Big Kat is remembered for. “To physically, mentally, and spiritually grow as much as i possibly can in that amount of time.” are his goals for his first year as a Buckeye in 2009.
Update
Storm completed his degree in 2013 in Sports and Fitness Management. He worked as a Senior Sales Representative with Cardinal Health for two years before taking his current position as an Account Executive with Ohio Chemical Services.
