Tyler Moeller Done for the Year?
Tyler Moeller could miss the entire season according to reports around the Buckeye program and ESPN this morning. Moeller was set to start at outside linebacker with Ross Homan and Austin Spitler being the other linebackers on the first string in the 2009 Spring Game Depth Chart. Behind Moeller were Tony Jackson and Storm Klein with other possible replacements this year including strong safety Jermale Hines or Brian Rolle.

Moeller was hospitalized recently at OSU Medical Center after experiencing swelling of the brain during a team activity. Surgery followed this past weekend and now he is back in Cincinnati with his family recovering. Rumors have the initial head trauma occurring from a fight in Florida while his family was vacationing.
The press is hoping for more information on the incident and Moeller’s status when Head Coach Jim Tressel discusses fall camp this afternoon with the media. Fans became aware of Moeller’s absence when the team reported to camp on Sunday and he was not present. Recovery from such an injury could take 3 months with football out of the question until much later.
